The SMART Dashboard
The SMART monitoring service is completed by a comprehensive DASHBOARD which provides a diagrammatic view of how your servers are performing at all times.
The dashboard is provided as standard and maps all the servers covered under the service on the left hand side panel, by clicking on the server name, you can then 'Drill Down' by a second click on the 'show metrics' link, which then displays a complete list of all those services monitored against that server.
Each service is shown in its present status, changing from green through yellow to red if there are problems. The screen auto-refreshes every 10 seconds, so it can be used as a wall display if required.
By clicking on the service name you can then see the most recently collected statistics for that service, and on the right hand side, (the clock icon) you will find the time when these were collected.
The colour/status change from green through to red is determined according to our normal standards, (for example disk space will go yellow when over 80% full) but these can be amended to the parameters you set.
This dashboard view provides both performance and critical support information for your engineers.
